I'll be going back over to my sister's tomorrow at about noon PST, so I'll try your guys' suggestions then. I've pulled a few hairs out over something that should've been a simple install. I know the card isn't DOA because it shows up in the Device Manager.
This is an AMD 7850k build, and she doesn't game so there's no GPU that could be hogging lanes. I went into the BIOS, but there is no PCIe setting I can find that would enable/disable certain slots. I went searching on Google and couldn't find anything that helped.

List anything you've done in attempt to diagnose or fix the problem. Nameless, and under the category 'Other Devices.' The network status says that there are no available networks, and it shows up in the Device Manager as PCI device (I think, I went home for the night and I don't have it with me). I bought my sister an Asus PCE-N15 wireless card to replace the crappy little USB wireless adapter she had already, but I can't get it to work.
